Pierre-Emmanuel joined StepStone in September 1999 as Account Manager for Bavaria (Munich) and became International Sales Manager in August 2000 (Paris). Since 2002, he manages StepStone’s involvement in The Network, a partnership of leading international recruitment websites and all International Sales within StepStone (Brussels). November 2006 Pierre-Emmanuel has been appointed Managing Director of The Network eG. Pierre-Emmanuel started his career in the press distribution sector (Vienna), with responsibilities to create and develop a successful sales force within a challenging corporate sales department.
Over the last six years, Pierre-Emmanuel worked in four different countries whilst helping International HR departments optimize their international online recruitment strategies. This has given him the benefit of having an international view on recruitment issues. As every business is different, individual solutions have to be implemented to select and work with: “The best sites, the best process, the best candidate”.
Pierre-Emmanuel Derriks has a degree in economical studies with a specialization in Export and international relations. He is currently in his second year of a part time MBA studies at Solvay Business School. He is married and father of four. His main hobbies are tennis, hiking and gardening.
