2000	May 23 – The founding date of the HeadHunter Company.
2004	April– Based on the results of a study of the Moscow recruitment services conducted by the Personal Management magazine in 2003, HeadHunter was cited as the most effective company in its market sector.
2005	July 21 – HeadHunter opened its official representation in the Ukraine, and introduced its website – HeadHunter.COM.UA. September 12 – HeadHunter launched the first issue of HeadHunter::Magazine, an online publication dealing with problems related to career-building and business anthropology. November 12 – HeadHunter purchased a short domain hh.ru, thus bringing the company five times closer to its clientele (obviously the two-letter hh is five times shorter than the name HeadHunter). 2006	January 1 – HeadHunter launched its official representation in Kazakhstan, supported by its website – HeadHunter.COM.KZ. January – the Russian Rambler Online Search system proclaimed Mikhail Frolkin, a HeadHunter managing partner, as The man of year 2005 in the recruitment category. January 28 – The Network for Professional Acquaintance Webby.ru became operative. March 9 – The HeadHunter company announced its purchasing of KeyStaff Solutions, an IT company. April – After polling 1,200 CEO and HR managers working in the Moscow recruitment market, Personal Management magazine cited the HeadHunter portal as the most effective of all online recruitment resources. April 19-21 – The HeadHunter company organized and hosted the first Internet and Business Conference in partnership with well-known participants in the Russian Internet market, such as Begun, Demos, Mail.Ru, Ozon, Rambler, RBC and Yandex. June 28 – HeadHunter launched its official representation in St. Petersburg. July 5 – HeadHunter launched its official representation in the city of Samara. July 12 – HeadHunter launched its official representation in the Ural region, with headquarters in the city of Ekaterinburg. September 20 – The Network for Professional Acquaintance Webby.ru had its final beta-testing.
